WOGA Stableford Partnership Tournament

Entries Accepted:

Monday, March 4, 9:00 a.m. - Thursday, April 18, 5:00 p.m. (late entries not accepted)
One player will enter team.
Substitutions will be accepted up to entry deadline.

Entry Fee:

$350 per Team, includes two rounds of golf, cart fees, range balls, two lunches and fun

Practice Round:

Anytime, paid by player.  Cost includes tax, green fee and cart fee.  Call 405-424-1421 for tee times and rates.

Team Composition & Eligibility:

Anyone 19 years of age and up by the first day of the tournament with a handicap index of 36.0 or less.

Partners may not have more than an 8-stroke difference in handicaps.  If more, the lower handicap of the partners plus 8 will determine the handicaps.

Participants must be a WOGA member (check membership eligibility) and have a current USGA handicap index with the member's club/course.  The participant's home club/course must be a WOGA Member Club.  Individual member dues and member club dues must be paid by the last day of entry period.  

Maximum Field:

Field is limited - 50 teams


18 holes per day of Shamble play.  Both partners tee off, select the best drive, then play their own ball from that point through the green, repeating the process for each hole.  Scoring will be based on a Stableford point system per hole. 

Field will be divided into flights based on combined handicaps.  Handicap allocation will be according to USGA recommendations.  Partners may not have more than an 8-stroke difference in handicaps.  If more, the lower handicap of the partners plus 8 will determine the handicaps.


All players will play from the forward tees, not less than 5000 yards.


Overall Low Gross and Low Net awards. Gross and Net awards in each flight. Players may win only one prize.

Caddie Policy:

Caddies are not allowed for this event.

Verification of Handicap:

All handicaps will be verified prior to the tournament after the last e-revision prior to pairings.  When a player is a member of more than one golf club and has a different handicap index at each golf club, the lowest handicap index will be used according to USGA recommendations.

Dress Code:

Players must follow the dress code of Host Club.  No blue jeans, denim, tank tops or metal spikes are allowed for WOGA events.

Schedule of Events:

  • Monday, April 29 - Registration at 7:30 a.m.
  • Monday, April 29 - Shotgun start by flights at 8:30 a.m.
  • Monday, April 29 - Lunch following play
  • Tuesday, April 30 - Shotgun start by flights at 8:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, April 30 - Awards Luncheon following play

Pairings, tees times, and other important tournament information will be sent to participants after the close of entries.

Refund Policy:

Teams who cancel by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18, will be refunded the entry fee less a $25 administrative fee per team.  No refunds will be given after that date unless approved by the tournament committee before the competition begins due to illness or injury.
