101st Women's Oklahoma State Amateur Championship

Monday, May 13, 9:00 a.m. - Thursday, July 11, 5:00 p.m. (late entries not accepted)
$200 includes all tournament green fees, cart, range balls, and one practice round
Included in entry fee, includes green fee, cart fee and range balls. Before 10:00 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, the week before the tournament. For those traveling a greater distance, Sunday, the day before the tournament after 2:00 p.m. Call 405-340-1010 for tee times.
Junior Golfers, age 18 and under as of July 22, with a handicap index of 10.0 or less.
Anyone over age 18 with a handicap index of 36.0 or less.
Participants must be a member of WOGA (check membership eligibility) and have a current USGA handicap index listed with the member's club/course. The participant's home club/course must be a WOGA Member Club. Individual member dues and member club dues must be paid by the last day of the entry period.
Up to 7.9 handicap index will elect to qualify for Championship or Presidents Flight
8.0 to 10.0 handicap index may elect to qualify for Championship, Presidents, or other flights
10.1 to 36.0 handicap index will qualify for other flights
Junior golfers with a handicap index of 10.0 or less will qualify for Championship Flight
Field is limited to low 88 handicap indexes.
All other entries will be put on a waiting list in order of handicap index. If you are not among the low 88, you will receive a full refund.
Format: 18-hole qualifying round to be seeded for match play
Match play with a winner's bracket and consolation bracket in all flights except Championship
No consolation bracket in Championship Flight
Championship Flight will be 16 or 32 depending on entries
Presidents Flights will be multiple flights of 8 depending on entries
All other flights are 8 (WOGA reserves the right to eliminate the last flight if it is not full)
Monday, July 22 - Tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m.
All players will go through qualifying for flighting and seeding purposes. Players with a 10.0 handicap index or less, other than Junior Golfers, may elect to qualify for Championship or Presidents Flight. Junior Golfers will qualify for Championship Flight. All those qualifying for Championship Flight will be seeded according to their qualifying score. Those players who do not qualify for Championship Flight may elect to play in Presidents Flight during match play and will be seeded according to their Adjusted Qualifying Score. Those players who do not qualify for Presidents Flight may elect to play in the other Flights during match play and will be seeded in the other Flights according to their Adjusted Qualifying Score. The State Amateur Champion will be crowned from the Championship Flight. The election to play in the next flight during match play will be made when the player's qualifying scorecard is submitted.
Adjusted Qualifying Score is the actual qualifying score adjusted for the difference in course rating between the tees played in the qualifying round and the tees played in the flight for which the player qualified per the USGA Handicap Manual Sec. 9.3c.
Championship Flight 6000-6200 yards based on course difficulty
Presidents Flight 5600-5800 yards based on course difficulty
All other flights forward tees, not less than 5000 yards
State Amateur Champion Pendant, prizes for 1st and 2nd place in each winner's flight and 1st place in each consolation flight. Medalist, Senior Medalist, Junior Medalist and Low Putts in the Championship Flight Qualifying round.

Qualifying points awarded to those competing in the Qualifying Round for the Championship and Presidents Flights
Players may have a caddie for this event. A junior golfer, age 18 and under, may not have a parent, step-parent or guardian caddie for them. Caddies may ride in cart if there is availability in the cart, players have priority.
Verification of Handicap:
All handicaps will be verified prior to the tournament after the last e-revision prior to pairings. When a player is a member of more than one golf club and has a different handicap index at each golf club, the lowest handicap index will be used according to USGA recommendations.
Players and caddies must follow dress code of Host Club. No blue jeans, denims, tank tops or metal spikes are allowed for WOGA events.

- Monday, July 22 - 6:45 a.m. - Registration
- Monday, July 22 - 8:00 a.m. - Qualifying for entire field
- Tuesday, July 23 - First Round of Match Play
- Tuesday, July 23 - Afternoon matches if Championship Flight is 32 players
- Wednesday, July 24 - a.m. - Second Round Match Play, First Round Consolation
- Wednesday, July 24 - p.m. - Semi-Finals for Championship Flight
- Thursday, July 26 - a.m. - Finals in all flights. Toasting Party and Awards immediately following final match.
Players who cancel by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, will be refunded the entry fee less a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be given after that date unless approved by the tournament committee before the competition begins due to illness or injury.
